What if instead of having the predetermined person who will complete you, you chose among other folks and literally woven your souls together? And if the ritual failed you'd feel hollow until you found someone willing to share their soul with your ripped one forever?

This idea is just bouncing around my brain. Has been for months.

In a fantasy world, being able to share your magical abilities with one another if you wave your souls together, so a person wants to have a certain soulmate just to further their magic, and nuh-uh it doesn't work like that.

Shame on you. Shame on your cow.

I wanna write a ShinDeku story about that, that starts as your usual BakuDeku and KamiShin. I want to break some stereotypes on the characters' heads. I want to do so many things.
