Snowflake Challenge Impostor log #2: Pets of Fandom

The second challenge encourages us to talk about pets. *rubs hands* oh boi oh gurl oh dem! I have exactly 0 pets to talk about that come to mind immediately.

That won't stop me from scouring my fanfics for any. Upon brief reflection, I only have OCs or transformations to give you, nothing directly from the source material.

I have a fic lined up where Bones babysits Spock and Jim's engagement sehlat and calls it a murderbear. I, for once, agree with Bones on this one even if I have written Spock correcting him three times during one conversation.

Another fic of mine, this time of BnHA nature, has a quirked-up cat who helps Team Midoriya win the Hero Class Civil Warfare-inspired challenge.

Another BnHA fic has Shinsou Hitoshi develop a secondary quirk in a stress response, and be able to turn into a cat, at first involuntarily, then at will. Somehow he wounds up staying with Midoriyas most of his time...

Notably, none of those fics made it past the planning stage, therefore you can read exactly 0 of them. I like this phrase, exactly 0, like yes gurl give us nothing kinda shit.

Also notably, I cannot give you their names because I do not remember them.

I am a horrible writer, I haven't even given my audience imaginary cats to imaginary pet /joke

The sehlat fic sounds like a lot of fun! Even if it might not be the most fun for McCoy...

I would say that having the pets live in your imagination totally counts, even if they don't end up being shared with the world. (Goodness knows I have OCs like that.)
